Looking back...

Another year of tips and news is coming to an end.  Today we're going to take a look back at some of the most popular articles of 2008, and some of my favourites as well.  Maybe you'll catch something that you missed!

First, here are my 5 favourite HeadWay articles from the past year: And while we're at it, here are the 5 most popular blog posts that you may enjoy: Finally, let me give an honourable mention to all the discussions this year on Topamax.  At the blog we discussed Topamax and speech disturbances, whether or not migraine patients are especially sensitive to Topamax, Topamax for children, and Topamax and uric acid.  Topamax continues to be a big news maker, and I know you'll hear more about it in the weeks ahead.

By popular demand, there is now an article focusing on Topamax side effects here.

For another "most popular" list, see this post on most popular migraine and headache related books.

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who has subscribed, emailed, commented, subscribed to the rss feed, shared your migraine art, and participated in the site in so many ways.

Together we have made discoveries, shared tips, and encouraged one another to keep going.

In 2009, God willing, we will continue to fight headache, cluster, and migraine - and maybe you will make that breakthrough that will make it the healthiest year yet!

Say what?!  Paresthesia

Paresthesia refers to the strange or unpleasant sensation more commonly referred to as tingling or burning.  This is one possible symptom of migraine, before the main pain stage.
