Say what?! Beta Blocker

Thank You!

I just have to start with a BIG thank you!  Many of you took the challenge last month and gave to the Migraine Research Foundation.  As a matter of fact, I received this note from the MRF president, Cathy Glaser:
We were inundated with donations this weekend ... We can't thank you enough for your support!  These donations are coming at a perfect time for the Migraine Research Foundation.  We recently closed our annual RFP, and we're getting ready to evaluate the 46 grant requests from around the world.  I'm personally very excited about this group of proposals and optimistic that some may really move the science and practice of headache medicine forward.  Once our Medical Advisory Board evaluates the proposals for innovation, importance and achievability, we will be determining which should be funded. Our Board makes these determinations based on the money on hand and policy questions.  100% of all donations go to fund our grants as all of our overhead is covered by members of our Board.
Great news!  In fact, an addition to the amount that was given directly through the MRF, a few hundred more came in through The Migraine Research Foundation at FirstGiving - even more of an inundation! ;)

There's still work to be done - but we took a big step forward!  What a great community we have!
