Everyone in my family gets migraines, and I'm the only one who doesn't get auras. I'm kind of jealous because a)I feel left out, and b)some people see the aura before the headache and can take preventative medication, but mine hit me like a ton of bricks and I'm stuck with them.

Anyway, this is a photoshop piece that contains pictures of a skull, a brain, a printout of my own brain waves, lightning, a jackhammer, and, if you look closely, the phrases, "OWW," "shut up," "you don't get it," and "turn those @#$%ing lights off" scrawled in migraine handwriting.

I also have epilepsy and I'm working on some seizure art.

Wow!! It is such an elusive affliction, but for someone who has never experienced the "aura" part, you have the concept NAILED here. I love it! Well done!

I love how you put so many layers on this. That says a lot in itself - migraine is not simple, the symptoms are not simple, and the way it impacts people's lives is not simple.
