Hi, Gill here, this is my artwork.
I agree it is unbelievable at first! I too did not have headaches with these, but prob because I guessed what it was and took painkillers straight away. Funnily enough, I never had a headache ever, till I was over 20 with the flu. I only got these aura for about 3 months, a few years back. Thanks everyone for your feedback, perhaps I should do more artworks, since I renmber these so well....

so glad I found this by: Anonymous
Oh my God. THAT'S what that is! I have had several of these over the years, and in fact, I'm having one right now (fading now). The first time it happened I was taking an Algebra test in school and I couldn't read the paper the test was written on. I told the teacher about it and she did not believe me. Even my parents said "you're imagining it, it's all in your head."
I wasn't imagining it, it was real.
The odd thing is, I don't get the headache after wards.

auras of the world unite by: flysounds
I am so relived to find that more
ppl suffer from this bizarre phenomenon .
First time it happened to me i thought
I am having a brain damage or some kind of stroke
and rushed to hospital to no avail .
I get usually just the flickering madness + a tad of
depression but not the full headache.
now i just wait quietly for it to pass.
Did you guys find any constant triggers that cause
it - i haven`t though i tried....
anyways - have fun :)

With my auras the setting has thankfully and mostly been my lounge...not as pretty a venue as your picture. Except of course when I hwad one whilst driving to a dental appointment!!Don't ask!!!Along with the aura comes a feeling that there is something in the way to my left...and then the scintillating zig zag images appear in an arc as you have depicted so well. The scintillating shapes obliterate as lot of my vision and I usually end up squinting or closing my eyes and waiting for it to pass. It does pass after on average an hour but I always feel tired after it. And sometimes I get the added bonus of creeping numbness in my fingers (one side) which travels up my arm. Along with that can come numbness of my top lip and nostril...wow the fun never ends!! To top the lot sometimes my tongue joins in the numb fun. Thanks for showing everyone a small part of a migraine......the rest is a personal ride into short lived madness..thanks goodness.

Similar to mine by: Elizabeth
My auras are really colorful and vibrant but they are shaped like yours. I'm just glad I don't get the pain. I do get the deflation and depression though along with anxiety before.

Hard to look at by: James E
I think anyone that sees this will find this picture hard to look at. it is so acurately depicted that it almost feels like youre looking at a plant while having the aura in real life. This is an excellent piece!
